Chathurani is a Planner specialising in residential development and strategic land projects across the South West of England.

Chathurani joined Nexus Planning in 2023 and is based in the Bristol office. She has experience across residential, retail, research and analytics projects.

Her work includes site appraisals, planning strategy advice, local plan representations, planning application coordination and the preparation of evidence relating to housing land supply and infrastructure needs.

Chathurani has supported projects ranging from smaller residential schemes to large-scale strategic developments, using GIS mapping and spatial analysis to support planning submissions.

Before joining Nexus, Chathurani worked in the international development sector on sustainable development projects supported by organisations including the United Nations Development Programme, Asian Development Bank and United States Agency for International Development. She is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
