Fiona is a Principal Analyst within the Nexus Analytics & Research team, specialising in demographic, socio-economic and human health analysis in support of planning and development projects.
Fiona joined Nexus in September 2021. She provides evidence-led research and analysis for both Nexus teams and external clients, supporting planning applications, Local Plan evidence and wider development strategy work.
Her work includes Health Impact Assessments, economic impact assessments and evidence relating to housing, education and open space needs.
Fiona also works with local authorities across the UK and Ireland on evidence-based studies, including retail and leisure assessments, specialist housing studies and open space strategies.
Before joining Nexus, Fiona worked within an academic research environment. Her experience spans projects in the South East, the South West, the Midlands and Northern Ireland. Fiona is an Associate of the Institute of Economic Development.
