Joanne is an Associate Director with over 20 years’ planning consultancy experience across strategic land promotion, housing delivery and Environmental Impact Assessment coordination.

Joanne joined Nexus Planning in May 2022. Her role involves advising on the planning potential of sites, managing major planning applications and supporting the promotion of land through the Local Plan process.

She leads on Environmental Impact Assessment coordination across the business, providing advice on EIA requirements, approach and the management of Environmental Statements.

Joanne works primarily across the South East, London and the East of England. Her experience includes residential and residential-led development for developers, land promoters and housebuilders, alongside employment, education and film studio schemes.

Before joining Nexus, Joanne worked at Ipswich Borough Council before moving into consultancy roles at Roger Tym & Partners, Peter Brett Associates, now Stantec, and Pegasus Group. She has been a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2005 and is also a Mental Health First Aider.
