Oliver is a Regional Director leading the Reading office, with extensive experience advising on strategic land promotion, major residential development and employment schemes.

Oliver has been part of Nexus Planning since the company was established. He leads the Reading office team and supports the national Strategic Land team.

He manages complex planning projects involving strategic site promotion, planning applications, planning appeals and Local Plan representations.

Oliver has significant experience at Local Plan examination and as an Expert Witness at planning appeals. His work includes residential-led urban extensions, mixed-use developments and employment schemes, including film studio proposals within the Green Belt and on brownfield land.

Before joining Nexus, Oliver worked in Development Management at Woking Borough Council and Guildford Borough Council. He advises clients including Hawridge Strategic Land, Catesby Estates, Taylor Wimpey Strategic Land, Amazon Digital, Oxygen Studios and Beechcroft Developments. Oliver is a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.
