Roger is the Managing Director and a founding Director of Nexus Planning, with more than 35 years’ experience in town planning across the public and private sectors.
Roger began his planning career in 1990, working at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council and Birmingham City Council before moving into private consultancy in 2000.
Having built a strong track record in identifying and successfully promoting large-scale residential-led development, Roger established Nexus Planning in 2013 and has since led its growth into a national independent planning consultancy.
Roger advises on strategic residential and employment development projects throughout the UK, with particular experience in strategic planning, site promotion, planning appeals and Local Plan Examinations in Public.
His project experience includes major urban extensions and new settlements, including Burgess Hill Northern Arc, Gaydon Lighthorne Heath, South Wokingham and major growth projects in Carterton, Lichfield, Dorset, Central Bedfordshire, Coventry and Stratford upon Avon. Roger has been a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 1992.
