Heather is a Regional Director leading the Manchester office, with nearly 20 years’ experience in private sector planning consultancy.

Heather joined Nexus Planning in 2019. She advises on a wide range of residential, later living, student, commercial, regeneration and healthcare schemes across the UK, supporting projects from inception through to delivery.

Heather has particular expertise in retail and town centre planning, advising both public and private sector clients on retail studies, town centre strategies, impact assessments and planning applications.

She also has significant experience supporting local authorities with policy preparation, appraising third-party planning applications and appearing at Local Plan examinations.

Heather regularly manages multidisciplinary project teams on major planning applications and Environmental Statements. She previously worked at WYG, now Tetra Tech, and Savills. Her clients have included Euro Garages, Morbaine, Torus, Blackpool Council, Trafford Council and Manchester City Council.
