Matt is an Associate with more than 10 years’ experience across the private and public sectors, advising on residential, leisure and regeneration projects throughout the South East.

Matt joined Nexus Planning in 2022 and is now an Associate. He provides site-specific planning strategy advice and manages planning applications across a range of development types, including outline, full and reserved matters schemes.

He has particular experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams and guiding projects through the development management process, from early-stage advice through to determination and appeal.

Before joining Nexus, Matt worked within Development Management at Elmbridge Borough Council and Runnymede Borough Council, giving him detailed insight into local authority decision-making processes.

Matt has advised clients including Hallam Land Management, Miller Homes, Kier Property, Hill Residential, Gleeson Land, Taylor Wimpey and Amazon MGM Studios. He has been a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 2019.
