Nik is a Regional Director leading the London office. With more than 20 years’ experience, he supports private and public clients nationwide on town planning matters, with a particular focus on planning applications and appeals.

Nik joined Nexus Planning in 2019. He leads the team of planners and economists based in the London office, supporting clients across the private and public sectors on a wide range of town planning projects.

He also leads Nexus’ Regeneration Sector, advising on urban regeneration schemes of all scales, including major brownfield, residential, employment and education projects.

Nik is an experienced Expert Witness, regularly appearing at Public Inquiries and advising on complex and politically sensitive proposals. He also works extensively with public sector bodies, supporting development management, planning policy and masterplanning projects.

Prior to joining Nexus, Nik held senior planning roles within local government before working on behalf of the Planning Inspectorate, determining planning appeals for the Secretary of State. He has advised clients including Muse, Lovell, Vinci/Taylor Woodrow, the Department for Education and several London boroughs.
