James is the Finance and Operations Director at Nexus. An Executive Director and member of the Board, he is responsible for the strategic direction and operational management of the business.

James joined Nexus in July 2024 as the business’ first Finance and Operations Director, charged with leading how the business is run. Working with a team of professionals in the Operations team, he has responsibility for finance, HR, marketing, operations, legal and compliance, IT, facilities and premises.

He works closely with colleagues throughout the business to support operational performance, business transformation and long-term growth.

James brings more than 15 years’ experience across professional services, management consultancy and operational transformation. Prior to joining Nexus, he held senior operational and transformation roles at Kingsley Napley LLP, Linklaters LLP and Deloitte LLP.

He combines experience in operational leadership, change management and consultancy, supported by professional qualifications in management accounting, internal audit, project management and Lean Six Sigma.
