Julia is a Senior Planner with experience across the UK and Australia, working across residential, institutional, commercial and retail development sectors.

Julia joined Nexus Planning in 2025 and works predominantly in the retail and leisure sector on behalf of local government clients across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Her work includes town centre health checks, retail capacity assessments, planning policy reviews, vitality and viability studies, retail and leisure audits, planning appraisals and advice on retail planning applications.

Julia is experienced in leading projects for public and private clients, including qualitative town centre health assessments and quantitative retail floorspace capacity analysis.

Before joining Nexus, Julia worked at Martin Robeson Planning Practice in London and Urban Edge Consultants in Melbourne, advising on residential, commercial, industrial, institutional and retail planning applications and development proposals.
