Overview

The site extends to approximately 100ha of Green Belt land on the Eastern Fringe of Bristol, including a former golf course and surrounding agricultural land.

A ridgeline runs through the site from north to south, with views from the east representing an important consideration. Heritage assets were also an important consideration in shaping the proposals.

However, due to the scale of the site and its connectivity via sustainable transport modes, as well as to the highway network, the site represents a sustainable location for a new mixed-use community.
